3 Reasons We Kill Our Dreams

Lack of motivation, no effort input

Dreaming is audacious. If you have the audacity to dream, you better have to courage to put your best foot forward in order to achieve those dreams. It is not enough to want to do something, you need the willpower to carry it through. We kill our dreams when we think simply thinking of a dream is all that is required of us. No. If that was the case, I or anyone else would  be too many things to have time for. I, for one, would be a nurse, published writer, traveling the world teaching children and so on. I also know there is a time  for everything. Simply because you want to do something now does not mean now is the right time. Don’t let that stop you though. To be frank with you, laziness is probably the number one reason why so many dreams gets tucked in the cortex. We need to stop making excuses and start making plans. Turn your dreams into plans and your plans into the reality you want to live. Input and output-that is all it takes to ship your dreams into the future.

There is power in your dreams, don’t kill them. There is even more power in your ability to achieve them, so go for it!

I am a 26 year-old educator on the run of becoming all that I can in the time that I have. A few years ago, I embarked on a journey filled with spiritual discoveries, healthy habits, and a passion for education stronger than I've ever had. Learning what to do to become a better person have always interest me. One of my passions is to know a little about everything in order to gain the capability of forming my own opinion so others won't have to do it for me. Another passion that was buried deep inside finally came to the surface and allowed me to see the adventurous side of me. I am on a journey to see the world and do things outside of my comfort zone. I will write all about it along the way!
