3 Affirmations For Job Seekers

3.) Every day you wake up is another blessing and opportunity: Although this period in your life is stressful, remember to tell yourself every day that God loved you enough to allow you another day and use that blessing as your fuel to keep going. Keep applying. Keep praising him in advance! It is in times like this that you should find even greater joy in all the blessing that you do have. Hold on to your loved ones tighter. Be good to others. Stay true to yourself and believe that this season of your life is preparing you for something wonderful. God can bless you with a position you may not even qualify for. He can use people who you don’t even know to lead you into a career you didn’t even consider at first. ALL things are possible, but first you must continue to believe. One day you will look back on this time in your life and smile because you made it. I’m not here to tell you that everything will be a fairytale, but I am here to say that God is a provider of those who earnestly seek him.

The first job to call you may not be your ideal place to work, but trust him. You may have some days where all you can do is cry to him and ask for strength. He will issue it. Don’t give up, and keep speaking greater over your life. The doors will be opened. Just do your best to remain positive and thankful. I know you may be thinking it’s easier said than done, and you are absolutely right, but none of that says that it’s impossible. Your attitude will be crucial to the outcome. Don’t let guilt, shame, laziness, or pride step in the way. All of these things will leave you in a hole, and drive you further into a mediocre and depressed life. You are too great to settle! Whatever door opens, step through it and do it to the best of your ability! Always believe in yourself and remember this of which I have quoted before from Dr. Samuel R. Chand, “Where I am is not who I am because who I am is greater than where I am.” You are not equal to the situation you are in. Your potential exceeds it, and when your time arrives you will see just how greater you are!

Thank you for this! I’m currently unemployed and I’m looking for a job. It seems like no other one wants to give me a chance. I’m so desperate, but I’m trying not to lose my faith. I have to trust God.
