3 Things All Fathers Should Know

  1. Your Presence Matters

I don’t think men are uplifted and encouraged enough in today’s society. There is so much expected of them as far as work and intimate relationships, but you don’t hear enough encouragement as far as fatherhood is concerned. As a mother, I have a deep respect for good fathers. I see how important the role is in my own child’s life. Dads, Your presences matters. Yes, we know most moms tend to take on the supermom role and make sure everything is done, but what you bring to your child’s life is priceless. Never feel like your presence is insignificant. Your child learns so much from you, and these are things that they will carry into adulthood. Each father adds a sense of self-fulfillment to their child’s life. No matter how much love and attention they encounter from others around them your presence is exclusive. You bring something to their life that no other can. No matter what the relationship is with your child’s mother, make it a point to remain active in your child’s life. Help them grow into outstanding young men and women. Teach them the things that they are naturally more susceptible to learning from you. It takes two to create these wonderful little people, and each parent contributes to their lives differently. There is nothing like a father’s love.
