4 Ways to Survive Your Quarter-Life Crisis Like a Pro

A couple of years back in my early 20’s, I had an honest-to-goodness self-deliberation, and I was able to come to terms with what happiness truly is based on that reality check. Let’s be honest and admit that we often forget what truly counts when we’re deliriously happy over something that is current, and stress ourselves to the max once the euphoria begins to fade.

So how do you stay positive during this period of doubt and stress as you turn into a full-fledged adult?

1. HAVE AN “A YEAR FROM NOW…” MANTRA

Life would be so dull if you haven’t changed, minimally or significantly,  in a year. It would also feel flat if you never got rejected or experienced a painful situation. I dare you to ask every 30-50 year old you knows what has made them stronger, and they will say that it was the heartbreaking things they went through in their lives. The trying times when some people you trusted have spoken ill comments about you, when you were being judged and misjudged because of your personal choices, or when just want to stay at home out of humiliation—take comfort in the thought that everything will change a year after. You’ll be smiling again in no time.

2. BE SELF-CONSCIOUS

Acknowledging your insecurities and past mistakes helps you in developing your strong points and learn from your weaknesses. Since we know that nobody is perfect, we’re also aware that each of us were born with a gift that is meant for sharing to help others. Learn to channel your mojo in something you do well with. This will definitely heighten your self-confidence and understand your purpose in life.
