Find Your Happiness

5) Be happy and don’t feel guilty about it!

  • Believe it or not, some people are weird about feeling happy. They feel as if they should have something to worry about. The agape kind of happiness is real and it is OK to freely experience it.  God said not to let you heart be troubled. He intended for you to be happy when those words were written and He still has the same intention now. I’ve heard testimonies of other believers who explained that they used to feel guilty for buying things and feeling happy all the time. I can understand that as I sometime felt guilty for getting expensive things that I want. I am not promoting buying expensive things to feel happy, I am simply saying that we need to be careful about feeling guilty for being happy and able to afford things. Happiness is more than affording things therefore having those things or not should have no role to play in our lives. Happiness is peace in your soul, mind and body. It is also a choice you have to make every single day-it is not a destination, but a process. So, make the decision to pursue your happiness and to maintain it on a daily basis. You will discover all the more that life has to offer and the peace that surrounds you will be revealed.

I am a 26 year-old educator on the run of becoming all that I can in the time that I have. A few years ago, I embarked on a journey filled with spiritual discoveries, healthy habits, and a passion for education stronger than I've ever had. Learning what to do to become a better person have always interest me. One of my passions is to know a little about everything in order to gain the capability of forming my own opinion so others won't have to do it for me. Another passion that was buried deep inside finally came to the surface and allowed me to see the adventurous side of me. I am on a journey to see the world and do things outside of my comfort zone. I will write all about it along the way!
