I know people who despise going to the gym in general, especially for any long period of time. When I don’t have time or too lazy to go to the gym, I work out at home. If the gym is not your favorite place but you know you need to work out, there are different things you can do. Personally, I work out at home using a few DVDs I own. If I am not in the mood for them, I work out to short tutorials on youtube. Tiffany Rothe is really good. Her videos are 5-15 minutes long. Short work out videos are becoming a trend now. They are better than nothing at all.
