Men

I Object!

Excuse me your honor, I object!

My Father did not create me to be his roommate when he plucked his ribs and embedded them in me

When I was given to him it was said he was to be my protector, not me his slave

See, the way my faith is set up, I cannot afford to cook and clean without a ring

Look through my resume, I am well over qualified to be treated like a queen

My objective is not to play house, but to build a home

The fact that I came from his sides is proof that I am not to be his doormat

But to walk along side him as his equal- not a fling, a booty call or a temporary satisfaction

The education I am receiving from God’s Word University is teaching me to be a noble woman of character

Keep reading and you will see that my experiences include time in His presence and in His word

Through that I am learning what unconditional love is and to accept nothing less

I take part in organizations that will lift and help guide me towards my destiny

I volunteer my time to those who are walking a similar journey and from whom I may find and give support

My cover letter describes in details that I am to be protected, cherished, loved unconditionally, and I will do the same in return

To conclude I would like to add that I am not his mother, my job is not to fix him and raise him

If you don’t mind, keep him incarcerated until he is “queendom” ready

In a place where men learn to treat women like the queen they are

Release him when he is done manifesting in his foolishness and have discovered the king in him

Then he will stop complaining and make an effort

He will rid himself of commitment issues and be a man

He will see me as another human being deserving of respect instead of a disposable toy

Putting a ring on it won’t be because he likes it, but because he needs it

His American Dream will be serving God, building a home and raising a family

My breast and thighs will be normal body parts

My inner being will no longer be in darkness

He will commit to a “marriageship” instead of  a formybenefitship

I am a 26 year-old educator on the run of becoming all that I can in the time that I have. A few years ago, I embarked on a journey filled with spiritual discoveries, healthy habits, and a passion for education stronger than I've ever had. Learning what to do to become a better person have always interest me. One of my passions is to know a little about everything in order to gain the capability of forming my own opinion so others won't have to do it for me. Another passion that was buried deep inside finally came to the surface and allowed me to see the adventurous side of me. I am on a journey to see the world and do things outside of my comfort zone. I will write all about it along the way!
