How to Express Your Style without being Immodest

2.) Know your body shape, your size, and what fits properly:

I got curious and decided to click on a link on Facebook that captured the type of clothing some people (for whatever reason) decided to step out of the house in to go to Wal-Mart. Quickly, I realized I did not want to keep looking through. The few pictures I did see taught me one thing, which was that knowing your size and shape is very important in the world of fashion. Ladies, I know this one is tricky. In one brand or store you could be a size 4, but in another one you are a size 6. It is the same for me. At JCP I can wear size 3 jeans, but at Aeropostale I can wear a size 2. It all depends on the material, the style, the brand, among many other factors. There is a dressing room in the store for a reason. Do not be afraid to go in there and try out what you want to purchase before you do so. Take a look and ask yourself; is it too tight? Too big, too short? How does your body feel in it? Are you comfortable? Not comfortable as in you are confident enough to actually walk out of your house with it on. I  know many times comfort is not one of the priorities, but it should be. If it is too tight or too big, get a different size. If it is too short try a different style. Too long? That should not be an issue unless it is excessively dragging on the floor. If it is a shirt that is showing too much cleavage, wear a tank top underneath if you really like the shirt and want to wear it. Modification is sometimes necessary so know when to do so. In the world of fashion modification is key.

I am a 26 year-old educator on the run of becoming all that I can in the time that I have. A few years ago, I embarked on a journey filled with spiritual discoveries, healthy habits, and a passion for education stronger than I've ever had. Learning what to do to become a better person have always interest me. One of my passions is to know a little about everything in order to gain the capability of forming my own opinion so others won't have to do it for me. Another passion that was buried deep inside finally came to the surface and allowed me to see the adventurous side of me. I am on a journey to see the world and do things outside of my comfort zone. I will write all about it along the way!
